In their last match against Madurai Panthers, they lost in last over in very close contest by 2 wickets. Going to defend the target of 152 runs, Abhishek Tanwar taken double wicket in first over. But after that Arun Karthik & NS Chaturved snatched the match from LKK. Valliappan Yudheeswaran & R Diwakar were too expensive in bowling side (Combined 60 runs spent in 4 over without wicket). LKK will try to forget earlier defeat and will try to come back strongly and open the account on point table.
Salem Spartans (SS) :
SS also couldn’t win in this season, they played only one match and that one lost against Nellai Royal Kings. Currently, They hold lowest position on points table without points. Batsmen as well as bowler couldn’t performed well in first match.
In first match Batsmen couldn’t performed well except R Kavin (48 runs in 37 balls) & Daryl Ferrario (60 runs in 49 balls). Rest all batsmen couldn’t cross the individual 11 runs and set the target of 150 runs in 20 overs. Bowlers of SS didn’t look touch with ball and couldn’t defend the target. SS will look for first win in this season, but it’s not be easy in front of SS.
