Welcome to the today match prediction & preview of Ruby Trichy Warriors Vs Chepauk Super Gillies (RTW vs CSG). This is the 12th match of TNPL, 2022, Which will be played in the NPR College Ground in Dindigul on Wednesday, July 6th.
Both team are the finalist team of the previous season. The two teams last met each other in the previous season in Grand Finale, where CSG won the match by 8 runs.
Ruby Trichy Warriors (RTW) :
LKK is now at the 4th position on the points table of current season with 2 points. They have started the journey by beat to Dindigul Dragons but lost the last one match against Idream Tiruppur Tamizhans. If we will look on the performance of RTW in this season, then RTW is playing with average performance. Batsmen are in bit good form but bowlers are little bit area of concern as per previous match.
In their last match against Idream Tiruppur Tamizhans, they lost by 4 wickets. RTW set the target of 158 runs in front of ITT with the help of Murli Vijay (34 runs in 16 balls), Amit Sathvik (26 runs in 21 balls) & M Mathivannan (27 runs in 18 balls). Going to defend the target of 158 runs, Sarvana Kumar hunted wicket of both openers in second over. But after that S Anand & M Bafna made partnership of 61 runs in 51 balls and ITT was looking for easy chase.
But, Unfortunately RTW came back in contest and got wicket of both set batsmen in consecutive 11th and 12th over. One time RTW was looking for easy win on the score of 98 runs in 14.1 over with 6 wickets, but after that Tuusar Raheja (42 runs in 26 balls) & M Mohammed (29 runs in 15 balls) snatched the match from mouth of RTW 7 balls earlier. RTW will try to forget earlier defeat and will try to come back on winning momentum.
Chepauk Super Gillies (CSG) :
On the other side, Champion of previous season is struggling for victory in current season. They have played 2 matches and, they have defeated by opponents in both matches. Currently they are on 7th position on points table without open the account. In first match bowlers were area of concern and in last match batsmen were area of concern. Overall both departments are unable to performed together.
In their last match, against Madurai Panthers Batsmen couldn’t performed well except Sasidev (58 runs in 43 balls) & Harish Kumar (39 runs in 43 balls). Rest all batsmen couldn’t cross the individual 11 runs and set the target of 136 runs in 20 overs. Bowlers of CSG didn’t look touch with ball and couldn’t defend the target. CSG will look for first win in this season and open the account on points table.
